All About My Lash Extensions

Image
My lashes after a refill appointment I have been getting lash extensions since August 2016, and I absolutely LOVE them! I love waking up to long, voluminous, and curled lashes. My natural lashes are thin, stick straight and point downwards. They are really sad. Lash extensions have simplified my morning routine/makeup routine. I typically don't wear makeup to work since I have to wake up so early, and I'm super lazy. Even though I don't wear makeup to work, I feel like my lash extensions help me look more put together without any effort. After my refill appointment. I'll keep them dry for at least 24 hours I've had people ask me if lash extensions are safe or if they damage your natural lashes. If done correctly, your lash stylist will use medical grade glue to adhere a single lash extension to a single natural lash. As long as you find a skilled and knowledgeable lash stylist there should be no damage to your natural lashes. Your natural lashes will co...

Hitchswitch Review

Image
I got married last month, and wanted to do a quick review on the company Hitchswitch. They offer a service that makes changing your name very easy. There are 3 different packages at 3 different price points. I chose to go with the full service package which was the middle package. For $69 they sent me all the major forms for name change as well as envelopes with paid postage. They include checklists that tell you what you need to include and what you still need to fill out on the form. While I enjoyed the convenience of this service, I do think it's a bit overpriced. I still had to do some of my name change stuff on my own such as credit cards, work, nursing license, insurance, etc. Every time I thought I was done, I would think of something else I had to get my name changed on. I still think Hitchswitch is worth it. It definitely took care of half the work of changing my name. Check them out at www.hitchswitch.com

My Wedding 6.17.17

Image
Sorry it has been a while since I've posted, but I got married last month and the aftermath has kept me quite busy until now. I'm happy to report that all the hard work and stress of wedding planning was worth it in the end. It did rain on our wedding day, so our ceremony had to be moved indoors but that didn't bother us. We were surrounded by our closest friends and family, and we had a blast! All of our vendors were amazing! It was truly the best day of my life!

Loopy Case Review - #StoptheDrop

Image
Looking for the best slim phone case that protects your phone and prevents accidental drops? Well look no further. The Loopy Case is what you need! I bought my first Loopy in November 2016 even though I knew I was going to be upgrading my phone in January 2017. Buying this case was the best decision ever! I love this phone case. I made sure I had my new Loopy Case ready before upgrading my phone from the iPhone 6 to the iPhone 7 Plus. So I bet you're wondering what's so special about this case, what makes it different from other phone cases? It's the loop! There is a strong, tear-resistant loop on the back of the case that you can slip your finger into which makes it almost impossible to drop your phone when using this case.   Loopy Case for iPhone 6 The loop attaches to the phone through two small holes in the case. The tails of the loop stick through in the inside of the phone case. It causes a slight bulging out on the back of the phone case, but it isn...

Vera Bradley Haul + Free Gift with Purchase - Cuban Tiles

Image
From 2014-2015 I went through a phase where I became obsessed with Vera Bradley products. The first Vera Bradley I purchased was from the outlet store. I just fell in love with all the colorful patterns! My very first purchase included the Mailbag in Bittersweet, Zip ID in Bittersweet, the Vera in Dogwood, and finally the Zip Zip Wristlet in Heather. Since then my VB collection has grown quite a bit. I took a break from buying VB because (1) I had more VB than I knew what to do with, (2) I noticed a decrease in the quality of their products - they replaced the fun, patterned fabric lining with a solid colored lining that felt cheap, and (3) I wasn't a fan of any of the new patterns that were introduced at that time. Recently, I decided to check out the Vera Bradley website for fun and to see what's new. As I was browsing, I came across the new pattern Cuban Tiles, and I fell in love with VB all over again. Check out the pattern below. Cuban Tiles I just love the beauti...
